John Halliday, M.Ed.
John Halliday, M.Ed., serves as a Sr. Policy Specialist. Mr. Halliday has extensive leadership and management in employment and community-based programs for individuals with disabilities. He led the Bureau of Rehabilitation Services in Connecticut to national recognition in the achievement of competitive employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities. The innovative service delivery, purchasing and administrative structures designed and implemented by BRS lead to significant systems changes both within Connecticut as well as serving as models for other systems. He has a proven record in program innovation and replication with particular emphasis on SSI/SSDI, transition, assistive technology, benefits counseling and program financing. He is highly regarded for his ability to structure human and financial resources in creative methods so that major organizational and program changes can be achieved. He has chaired and served on numerous CSAVR committees related to policy, operations, and practice issues in vocational rehabilitation.
