John Butterworth, Ph.D., is Coordinator of Employment Systems Change and Evaluation at ICI and serves as a Sr. Policy Specialist for NE-TACE. He is the Principal Investigator of Access to Integrated Employment, a national data collection project on trends and policy affecting day and employment supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. He is the PI for the State Employment Leadership Network, a 16 state membership collaborative committed to expanding employment opportunities through state policy and strategy, policy and staff to the CMS funded Massachusetts Comprehensive Employment Opportunities Initiative, and recently completed the five year DOL funded Training and Technical Assistance for Providers project. He has over 30 years of experience in research, training, employment support and in the management and development of employment services. He has published in the areas of employment policy, organizational change, employment outcomes, natural supports, person-centered planning, and program management.
