Mary Ann Bedick, M.Ed., CRC

Mary Ann Bedick, M.Ed., CRC, serves as a Training and TA Specialist at Assumption College, and works full-time with the TACE project. She was the Coordinator for the RCEP for 7 years. Areas of expertise include: Rehabilitation Ethics, VR Counseling Skills, the use of the Internet in VR, serving VR consumers who are Blind/Visually Impaired, VR with Deaf/Hard of Hearing individuals, Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Consumer Empowerment, Job Placement Skills, Transition, and Case Process and Management. Recent curriculum development activities include the Career Development in VR Certificate Series, New VR Counselor Training, using Coaching Skills in VR and in VR Supervision, Organizational Communication and the design of online/distance education materials in several training areas. Mary Ann has twenty years of experience working in public VR as a Rehabilitation Counselor with the Deaf, VR Supervisor, and VR Manager. She is a certified rehabilitation counselor (CRC) with a master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling from Northeastern University.
